User Permissions Overview
In AgencyAnalytics it's possible to control what a user can do, which Clients a user can see, and what they can see within each Client. These settings can be edited on a per user basis at any time. There are three types of permissions:
Client Access limits which Clients each user can see and interact with in your account.
User Permissions control the actions a Staff or Client user can make, as well as the features and integrations they have access to.
Dashboard Visibility granularly controls what Users can see within a Client, like custom dashboards or integration dashboards.
The Admin user has full access and permissions in your account. For more information about default Staff and Client user permissions and access, click here.
Edit User Client Access
On the Client page, click the ellipsis to the far right on the User table in list view, or in the top right of the User tile.
Click the circle to the left of any Clients you would like this user to have access to. For Staff Users that should have access to every Client in the account, click All Clients at the top. Save in the bottom left to lock in this Client access.
In the below example, this Staff User account has access to three separate Clients. When they view the Client page, only those three Clients are visible.
Edit Permissions for User Controls and Dashboard Visibility
On the User page, click the ellipsis to the far right, then click Edit Permissions in the dropdown.
Click any of the categories to expand options, and toggle access on or off for the User. Options under General include access to things like managing Clients, Users, Account Settings, and Billing.
Each integration category can be toggled off entirely, removing it from the Users view, or expanded to toggle off individual integrations from view.
For more granular control of Dashboard Visibility, click an Integration name, then turn on or off permissions.
In this example, we have turned off the ability to Manage Keywords, preventing this Staff user from Adding or Deleting keywords in Clients. With SERP and Pages still enabled, they can still view the important data in their account.
To confirm the permissions and dashboard visibility is set up how you want, click Login as User from the same drop-down menu as before.
From our Staff Users view, we can confirm the Add Keywords button is removed from the top right, and that the Tags dashboard is no longer available as an integration dashboard.
