User Sessions Overview

Sessions are tied to distinct authenticated environments, typically through different devices or browsers. Each time you log into your AgencyAnalytics account from a new browser, device, or after being logged out due to inactivity, a session is created.

Sessions work on a first-in, first-out basis β€” the oldest session is signed out when the limit is hit. Admin accounts do not have a session limit, while Staff and Client users are limited to 2 active sessions at a time.

How it works:

  • Logging in on Chrome on your laptop = 1st session

  • Logging in on Safari (same laptop) = 2nd session

  • Logging in on incognito or private browser (same laptop) = 3rd session, which logs out the 1st session

  • Multiple tabs in the same browser session would not create new sessions

How to Manage User Sessions

From any page, click your user icon in the bottom left then click Settings in the dropdown menu, or click here to directly open the session management page in your account.

On the Settings page, look for the Security header then click Manage Sessions.

The sessions table displays active and inactive sessions, the device name, and start and end dates for the session.

Click the End Session button to the far right to end the current session and log out of the listed device.

❓ Does closing the browser where I'm logged in end my session?

No, you would still be logged into the same session. You must log out of your account to end your current active session.
