White Label Branding Overview

Set up account-wide white label branding, including logos, colors, and login URLs, then customize and manage individual Clients using the Client Portal

Written by AgencyAnalytics Team

Customize Account Logos

Account logos are used for your custom URL login page and for any Client that doesn't have Client-specific logos applied. AgencyAnalytics can automatically fetch logos from your agency's or a Client's website.

Update Account-Level Logos

Step 1: Click on your Profile, then click Settings.

Step 2: Select Logos from the White Label section of the settings menu.

You can change your Interface Logo, Report Logo, and Icon Logo.

Interface Logos

The interface logo is the image that will appear in place of the AgencyAnalytics logo on the login screen of your custom domain or custom sub-domain. This setting is not applicable for client-specific logos.

The interface logo can be a PNG, JPEG, or GIF file, and we recommend a transparent background to blend with your color scheme.

There are no width or height restrictions, although we recommend using a horizontal bar image to fill the horizontal space at the top left of the dashboard. Keep in mind that small images may appear pixelated.

The interface logo is automatically resized to fit dashboards and login screens. The maximum file size is 250 KB.

Report Logos

The report logo is shown on all PDF and web-based reports.

This logo is displayed as a large image on the cover page:

And as a small image in the header of each subsequent page:

The maximum report logo file size is 100 KB, and we highly recommend using an SVG image to allow smooth zooming of PDF pages. If you're having trouble converting a PNG or JPEG image to SVG, feel free to contact us.

Icon Logo

The icon logo is the image that appears as the favicon on web browsers, and as the icon when adding a dashboard link to a mobile device's home screen. These images must be exactly 196x196 pixels. Images must be in PNG file format, and the maximum file size is 100 KB.

Additionally, the Icon logo will appear at the top of every screen in your dashboard interface (in place of the AgencyAnalytics logo), and in the same location in the dashboard interfaces of your client and staff users.

Automatically Pull Logos

Step 1: Click Suggest Logos at the bottom right of the Logos section to have AgencyAnalytics pull logos from the website listed in your account settings.

Step 2: Review the results, then click Save to finalize.

How logos are fetched: account-wide logos are pulled from the website specified in Settings > Profile > Account.

Client-level logos are fetched from the Client's white-label URL.

Customize Account Colors

Interface color settings match the color scheme of dashboards, widgets, and your custom login page to your branding. Account-level settings apply to any Client that doesn't have a Client-specific color scheme.

Step 1: Click your Profile, click Settings.

Step 2: Click Colors under the Branding heading.

There is one color option available:

  • Brand: Primarily used for buttons, highlighting widgets, links in tables, and the active menu color.

A new theme option is automatically created whenever you upload an interface logo, since AgencyAnalytics will "guess" a matching color scheme from the logo's colors.

What does the brand color actually change? It updates highlights throughout the platform, including buttons, table links, widget highlights, and the active menu color, plus line, column, and area chart displays.

For example, the Rank Tracker line chart widget is using the dark purple, which is the brand color:

You can override the color on individual widgets from the report or dashboard editor:

Step 1: Click the widget, then the Display tab.

Step 2: Then change its foreground, background, text, and border color.

See Widget Overview to learn more about customizing widgets.

Set Up a White Label Login URL

All staff and Client users log in through a custom webpage. A subdomain, for example, your-agency.agencyanalytics.app, is set up automatically when you subscribe, using your company name.

For full white labeling, all plans support a custom domain, for example, clients.yourdomain.com.

Create a CNAME record in your web host that points to cname.clientseoreport.com; it can take a few hours to propagate. All white-label URLs automatically receive native SSL/HTTPS, with a certificate generated by the system.

Customize Branding for a Client via the Client Portal

From within any Client, click Client Portal in the top navigation bar to open Client Portal Settings. The Client Portal centralizes branding, dashboard visibility, and user access for that Client in one place.

Client Branding

In the top section of the Client Portal, add the Client's logo and choose one of their brand colors to accent their interface.

The preview on the right shows a general representation of the chosen branding. Click Save in the bottom left to lock in the changes for that Client.

To set a Client-specific logo, click the logo you want to change under Branding to open the upload window, select a file from your computer, then click Save.

If a Client doesn't have its own logo or color set, your account-wide white label settings apply instead.

Manage Dashboard Visibility

In the bottom-left corner of the Client Portal, you can choose which Dashboards are visible to Client Users who log in to their portal.

Any updates to dashboard visibility will reflect the next time they log in.

Click the selection field to open a drop-down menu, then click the checkbox to select or deselect specific dashboards.

In this example, we deselected the test dashboards where we're creating new designs. This ensures that when a Client User logs in, they won't see our work in progress until we're ready for them to have access.

Client User Management

On the right of the Client Portal settings, you can add, view, and manage Client Users for this specific Client.

Click Add User to open the user creation window.

To quickly edit existing users:

Step 1: Click the Ellipsis to the right of the user name,

Step 2: Choose an option from the dropdown menu. You can edit their profile or Client Access, resend an invitation, or log in as the user to emulate their experience.

Client Access refers to the specific Clients a user should be able to view.

You can also Edit User Permissions from the Users Page, where you can make more granular changes to which integration dashboards and sections a user can view.

Additional White Label Options

Multiple white label profiles: You can set a distinct logo and color scheme for each Client individually through Client Settings, rather than only reverting to account-wide branding. This is useful if you operate multiple agency brands or want to co-brand with each customer.

If you need separate custom URLs per brand rather than shared logos and colors, Linked Accounts may be a better fit; see the comparison in the FAQ below.

Custom email address: by default, reports are sent from noreply@clientseoreport.com. Depending on your subscription level, you can send reports from your own domain instead. Contact support to enable this, as it requires DNS changes (TXT and CNAME records) on your end. See Set Up a Custom Email Address for full details.

FAQ

How can I remove a Client-specific logo?

Mouse over the logo you want to remove under Logos, then click the "X" button that appears. The logo is removed immediately, and the Client reverts to the account-wide logo.

Are there size limits on logo files?

The interface and report logos must be under 1MB in file size. The icon logo must be exactly 196 x 196 px, PNG format. Beyond file size, the shape and quality of a logo can also affect how it appears, so follow the specs above to make sure your logos look good across your account.

Why isn't my report logo displaying properly?

This is usually a size, shape, or quality issue that causes problems when the system converts the file to SVG. If you updated the logo less than 15 minutes ago, it may still be propagating. If the issue persists after 15 minutes, contact support with a copy of the logo file.

Can I co-brand with a Client's logo and my agency's logo?

Yes. Merge both logos into a single image using an image editor (a designer can help if needed), then upload the combined file as the interface logo (PNG, GIF, or JPG) and report logo (SVG recommended) for that Client, and choose a color scheme to match.

What's the difference between multiple white label profiles and Linked Accounts?

Multiple white label profiles work within a single AgencyAnalytics account and let you set separate logos and colors per Client, useful for agencies operating under multiple brands in different niches. Linked Accounts let you manage multiple separate, paid AgencyAnalytics accounts under one management portal, each with its own logos, colors, and custom URL, useful if you need a distinct URL per brand.

Why can't my Client or staff user log in?

This usually happens when they try to log in through the Admin login page instead of your white labeled domain or subdomain. Admin users log in at app.agencyanalytics.com/login; staff and Client users log in at your custom subdomain or domain (for example, sunshinemarketing.agencyanalytics.app or reports.sunshinemarketing.com). If login issues persist, reset the password from the login page.
