With AgencyAnalytics, purchasing, managing, and reviewing your subscription is simple, and your billing details and invoices are always within reach. This article walks through how to access your billing information, purchase or change your subscription, change your billing currency, download and read invoices, request a refund, and answer common billing questions.
Access Your Billing Information
Accessing billing information and invoices in AgencyAnalytics depends on your user role and permissions. By default, only Admin users have full access to the Billing section, and they can download invoices, update payment methods, and manage billing emails.
Staff users don't have default access; an Admin needs to enable the "Access billing" permission in the Staff user's profile settings before they can view billing details.
Step 1: Log in to your AgencyAnalytics account.
Step 2: Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner.
Step 3: Select Billing from the menu.
Step 4: Here you can access your Subscription, Add-Ons, Invoices, Plans, and view or change your Payment Method.
Purchase a Subscription
Your account Admin can access the billing portal to upgrade your account's plan.
Step 1: Click Upgrade Now in the trial banner at the top of your screen, or click your profile icon in the lower left, then click Billing in the pop-out menu.
Step 2: On the Billing page, review which features are included in each plan. Scroll down the page to see a full comparison of all plans.
Step 3: Click Select Plan to start the checkout process.
Step 4: If you'd like to purchase more Clients than the base plan includes automatically, adjust the client count on the next page.
Enter a Coupon Code
If you have a coupon code, enter it before finishing checkout to make sure your discount is locked in.
Step 1: In the order summary, click Have a coupon? to expand the coupon field.
Step 2: Enter your coupon code, then click Apply. The amount due has been updated to reflect the discount.
Select Optional Add-Ons
Depending on your needs, you can purchase add-ons alongside your subscription.
Step 1: Click the Add-ons tab at the top of the page to view what's available.
Step 2: Review the available add-ons. Some, like Rank Tracker and AI Tracker, can be trialed free for 14 days and automatically bill at the end of the trial unless canceled.
Enter Payment Details
Step 1: Once you've chosen your plan, Client count, and any add-ons or coupons, click Continue.
Step 2: Choose either Credit or PayPal, then enter your information, including Billing Address.
With PayPal, click the circle next to PayPal, finish entering your address information, then click Sign Up. A pop-up window opens where you'll authenticate and complete the purchase through PayPal.
Step 3: On the right, under the order summary, choose whether to subscribe monthly or annually. Annual subscriptions come with a significant upfront discount; as a result, prorated or partial refunds aren't offered if you cancel partway through the year.
Step 4: Click Sign Up to complete your purchase and activate your new subscription.
Change Your Billing Currency
You can now switch your billing currency yourself; no need to contact support. This creates a new subscription in the new currency and cancels the old one, with no impact on your in-app experience (dashboards, reports, and settings stay the same), and all your invoices, in both old and new currencies, remain visible in Billing.
Step 1: Click your profile icon in the lower left, then click Billing.
Step 2: Click Payment Details, then click Change Currency.
Step 3: Select the new currency you'd like to be billed in. The summary on the right displays the Amount Due. If you're switching currencies partway through your billing cycle, the prorated amount reflects the portion of your remaining subscription period, calculated in the new currency.
Step 4: Click Continue.
Step 5: Enter your payment information for the new currency.
Step 6: Click Save payment details & change currency to complete the switch.
Switching currencies mid-cycle gets you a prorated refund for the unused portion of your old subscription, sent to your original payment method. Any other unapplied credit notes on your account are refunded to the same payment method on file.
Change to a Different Billing Interval
Step 1: On the Subscription tab of the Billing page, find your current plan and billing interval under Subscription Details, then click Change Plan.
Step 2: Click the Annual toggle in the upper right to switch to yearly billing, and preview each plan's per-month cost comparison.
Step 3: Click Modify Plan for a final review before purchasing. The renewal summary displays your updated total, including any prorated credits.
Step 4: Click Continue to review your billing information, then click Purchase to finalize the change and charge the card on file with the updated amount.
Add or Remove Clients in Billing
Step 1: Click your profile icon in the lower left, then click Billing to go to the Billing page.
Step 2: To the right of the Client tracker, click Add/Remove Clients
Step 3: Click the plus or minus icon to increase or decrease your Client count.
Step 4: Review the Subscription Summary on the right to verify the changes, then finalize your checkout. Subscription changes take effect immediately, and billing adjustments are processed in real time.
If you add Clients partway through a billing interval, you're charged the prorated amount for the remainder of that interval, and your next renewal reflects the new total Client count. If you decrease the Client count, any price difference is applied as a credit to your account for future charges.
Purchase Add-Ons
Step 1: Click your profile icon in the lower left, then click Billing to go to the Billing page.
Step 2: Click the Add-ons tab at the top of the page, or click the link in the add-ons section, to open the add-ons marketplace.
Step 3: Click Try For Free to start a 14-day free trial of an add-on like AI Tracker. After 14 days, the add-on is charged to your subscription unless canceled.

Increase or Decrease the Add-On Amount
Some add-ons, like Rank Tracker, have quantities you can increase or decrease based on your Clients' needs.
Step 1: On the Billing page, scroll to the Usage section and click Update next to the add-on.
Step 2: Adjust the add-on total using the plus or minus arrows in the pop-up window.
Add-ons can't be decreased below your account's active usage. For example, if you're tracking 995 keywords, you can't reduce a keyword tracking add-on to 500 until you remove keywords from tracking.
Remove an Add-On
Step 1: Click Update next to the add-on's name on the Billing page.
Step 2: Confirm your decision in the pop-up.
The add-on is removed from your subscription summary, and any applicable credit is listed in its place.
Change or Update Your Payment Method
Step 1: Open the Billing page, scroll to Payment Details, then click Edit Payment Method.
Step 2: The Payment Details section expands to show the fields for your selected payment method. To switch from PayPal to a credit card, or vice versa, click the circle beside the other payment method, and the form updates accordingly.
Step 3: Fill out the billing fields with your updated information, then click Save to lock in the changes for your next charge or renewal.
If you've switched to PayPal or updated your company information, clicking Save redirects you to the PayPal website to log in and confirm payment details. You'll be directed back to the updated billing page once finished.
Review Your Next Renewal
Step 1: Click your profile icon in the lower left, then click Billing to go to the Billing page.
Step 2: The Subscription Details section at the top shows your next renewal total and date, your plan name, Client count, and any subscribed add-ons.
Make sure your finance team has everything they need by adding them as an additional recipient to your subscription invoices. Additional recipients don't need a User account in AgencyAnalytics.
Download and Read Your Invoice
Step 1: Open the Billing page by clicking your profile icon in the lower-left corner, then selecting Billing in the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Click the Invoices tab at the top, or click here to open the page directly.
Step 3: Find the invoice you need, then click the invoice number to download a PDF copy immediately. The download appears in your browser's downloads section and your computer's Downloads folder.
Reading Your Invoice
Each invoice includes five sections:
Our contact information
Your contact information
Invoice details
Subscription information
Charges and payments
Our contact information appears in the upper-left corner of the invoice. This is generated automatically and can't be changed; it should be sufficient for tax or accounting purposes.
Your contact information appears below our contact information. It's pulled from your company details, while the name on the invoice comes from the Admin's profile page. If you've added a VAT number or another tax ID on the Company Details page, it appears here too.
Invoice details summarize the key data for that invoice:
Invoice Number | Generated internally by AgencyAnalytics |
Invoice Date | The invoice generation date and the due date. May not match the date it was paid |
Invoice Amount | The total amount due, before any payments were applied |
Customer ID | The internal ID used to identify your billing account |
Paid/Unpaid | Indicates whether the invoice has been paid |
Subscription information shows your subscription ID (used internally), the billing period for this invoice, and your next billing date.
Charges and Payments break down your plan name, Client count, any add-ons, pricing per line item, taxes, credits, payment method, and the amount due, if any.
Request a Refund
If you're experiencing issues with the platform, start a conversation with our support team first. We're available Monday to Friday via live chat to help answer questions or troubleshoot issues.
If you still feel AgencyAnalytics isn't the right fit, let our support team know you'd like a refund. We offer a 30-day, 100% refund guarantee on all first-time purchases.
Other Refund Requests
As per our Terms of Service, other refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis and granted at AgencyAnalytics' sole discretion. If you're unsure whether you qualify or believe your situation needs special consideration, contact our support team.
Prorated refunds aren't offered if a subscription is canceled mid-coverage period. In these cases, the account stays active and accessible until the last day of the paid period, after which the subscription expires, and the account closes.
Subscription and Billing FAQ
How Much Does a Membership Cost?
Pricing depends on the plan you select and the billing interval you choose, with annual subscriptions receiving an additional 20% off. Optional add-ons are also available and change the price of your membership.
How Do Subscription Cycles Work?
When you purchase a plan, you're signing up for a subscription that bills either monthly or annually, depending on your choice. Subscriptions recur on the same date of the month or year as your original purchase.
Do I Have to Commit to a Contract?
The monthly subscription doesn't require a contract and can be canceled at any time. The annual plan can also be canceled at any point during the year and provides access to the platform until the last paid day of your subscription. See Request a Refund above for details on prorated refunds.
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We accept PayPal and major credit cards, including AmEx, Visa, and Mastercard. Debit card payments aren't supported. Credit card payments often require 3D Secure (3DS) authentication on your card, which verifies the purchase using a one-time code sent to your mobile device, a passphrase, or biometric verification.
What Currency Am I Charged In?
We support charges in multiple currencies, including USD and CAD. The account Admin can view which currency you're being charged in under the payment details section of the Billing page.
Will switching my billing currency affect my access to AgencyAnalytics?
No. Switching currencies doesn't change your in-app experience. Your dashboards, reports, and settings all remain exactly as they were.
Can I still see my old invoices after switching currencies?
Yes. All of your invoices, both before and after the switch, remain available in the Billing section in their original currencies.
What if I have unused credit on my account?
Any unapplied credit notes on your account, aside from the prorated credit created by the currency switch itself, are refunded to your payment method on file.
How can I change my subscription?
As the Admin, you have access to the Billing page, where you can update your subscription or billing information. You can switch between billing cycles, add or remove Clients, and purchase or cancel optional add-ons, so your subscription can adapt as your business needs change.
By default, only Admin users can edit your subscription or account information. The Admin can update Staff user permissions to allow them access to Billing.
Why Didn't My Renewal Price Decrease When I Deleted a Client?
Your renewal is based on the Client count of your subscription, not on how many Clients are actively in use. If you've deleted a Client and don't plan to replace it soon, you can update your subscription (see "Change Your Subscription" above) to reflect the change.
Can I Have My Invoices Sent to a Different Email Address?
Yes. While the account Admin receives invoices by default, you can add additional invoice recipients.
Do You Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?
Yes. See Request a Refund above for full details on our 30-day refund guarantee.
