Introducing the AI Tracker Add-On
AI Tracker sends your tracked queries to your select AI platforms, then analyzes the generated responses to see if your Clients' brands are being mentioned or cited as a source in the response.
In the AI Tracker dashboard, you can view this data over time, giving your team a measurable "share of voice" in AI-generated answers, similar to how traditional rank trackers showed you where you landed on a Google results page.
AI Tracker is currently in closed Beta for early testing. Message our Support Team if you'd like to join the Beta and try it out.

āļø Add AI prompts for Tracking
On the AI Tracker page, while in the Prompts section, click Add Prompts in the top right. If this is your first time adding prompts, the button will be highlight in the page center.
Use AI to generate multiple prompts, or manually type in individual Prompts. Add a Topic to the Prompt to organize your Prompts. Prompts are immediately added to tracking, and are reflected in the credit usage on the right.
To remove a Prompt, hover the prompt then simply click the X to the right of the Prompt to delete it immediately.
On the right of the Prompts window is your credit tracking. This updates in real time as you add or remove Prompts, Locations, and Platforms from tracking.
At the top, it displays the total credits being added for this session, as well as the number of Prompts, Locations, and Platforms added, which are credit multipliers.
In this example we added 5 Prompts, tracking for 1 location, on 2 Platforms.
ā
5 Prompts x 1 Location x 2 Platforms = 10 Credits a Week
10 Credits x 4 Weekly checks in a month = 40 Credits a Month
While in this example, we are tracking 2 prompts, for 3 locations each, across 4 separate Platforms.
2 Prompts x 3 Locations x 4 Platforms = 24 Credits a Week
24 Credits x 4 Weekly checks in a Month = 96 Credits a Month
At the bottom of the credits box, you'll see your total credit usage across all Clients as a fraction of your total available credits, or credit limit (ex. Usage after adding 96/250 credits)
If you can't add an AI Prompt, it's likely you're at your credit limit. You'll need to purchase more credits, or remove some prompts in your account to add more.
Prompt Breakdown
In AI Tracker, each combination of 1 query + 1 AI platform + 1 location counts as a unique prompt.
Query | a single phrase (e.g. "Best reporting software for agencies", or "top SEO tools") |
AI Platform | an AI search platform, like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Perplexity etc. |
Location | the country, state, province, city, zip code, postal code, county, etc. the prompt results will be filtered by. |
Tracking multiple AI platforms and/or locations for a specific query creates additional prompts in AI Tracker, and uses more credits.
Examples:
Best reporting software for agencies + Toronto + ChatGPT = 1 prompt created
Best reporting software for agencies + Toronto + Calgary + ChatGPT = 2 prompts created
Best reporting software for agencies + Toronto + Calgary + ChatGPT + Gemini = 4 prompts created:
Best reporting software for agencies : Toronto : ChatGPT
Best reporting software for agencies : Toronto : Gemini
Best reporting software for agencies : Calgary : ChatGPT
Best reporting software for agencies : Calgary : Gemini
Reminder: Adding additional AI platforms and Locations on top of 1 query + 1 AI platform + 1 location will create and track multiple prompts.
ā Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does the free trial include?
The 14-day free trial of AI Tracker includes 250 credits for 14 days.
When the trial ends, your subscription will start being billed for 250 credits/month unless you choose to cancel the add-on.
Once it becomes paid, billing is prorated based on how far it is in the current billing period. Accounts will only be billed for the days remaining within the current cycle. The next billing cycle will require the add-on to be paid in full.
Q: What if I run out of credits during my trial?
The trial only includes 250 credits. If you're loving AI Tracker, you can end the trial early to start standard billing, and purchase as many credits to use as you'd like.
Q: How much does AI Tracker cost?
250 credits for $25 - That's $0.10 per credit. Top up with more packs anytime.
AI Tracker is billed based on credits, and credits are sold in packages of 250. Users can keep buying $25 packs incrementally.
Whatās a credit? One credit = one prompt query, tracked on one AI platform, for one location.
Your total credits per week multiply based on how many platforms and locations you track.
Example:
1 Prompt query x 1 AI platform x 1 Location (ie. āBest reporting software for marketing agenciesā x ChatGPT x Toronto) = 1 credit
Checked weekly = 4 credits
AI platforms and locations are credit multipliers
1 prompt query x 2 AI platform x 2 Location (ie. āBest reporting software for marketing agenciesā + ChatGPT + Gemini + Toronto + Calgary) = 4 credits
Checked weekly = 16 credits/mo
Q: How do I cancel my AI Tracker free trial?
The account Admin (or a Staff User with Billing access), can cancel the free trial at any time from the Add-on Billing page.
Click your profile icon in the bottom left, then click Billing.
Click Add-ons at the top.
Click Cancel on the AI Tracker tile, then Confirm in the pop-up.
Q: What if I don't use all of my credits in a month?
At the end of the month, unused credits are lost. Users can increase or decrease their credit packs as needed.
Q: How does the AI prompt suggester work?
It reads client details like website etc. to generate general prompts. You can then keep the prompts you like, or 'x' them off to remove.
Q: Can I add AI Tracker performance metrics to my dashboards and reports?
Yes! You can add AI Tracker metrics and filter the data by AI platform, location, and topic.
Q: Do the AI responses AI Tracker surfaces take the details of my clients into consideration?
Not currently. AI Tracker uses a "headless" approach, which means it talks directly to the AI through a back-end API, rather than using the AI the way a person would. That means the answers it captures are more general than what a specific user might see and that the AI has more historical context for.
Q: Why are my ad-hoc prompt results different from what I see in AI Tracker?
AI is non-deterministic ā every time you ask the same question, you'll get a slightly different answer. That's expected behavior.
AI Tracker accounts for this by running prompts repeatedly over time and surfacing patterns across many responses. What you're looking for isn't an exact match every time ā it's consistent trends: are you being mentioned regularly? Are certain sources being cited repeatedly? Is your visibility improving or declining?
Think of it less like traditional SEO rank tracking, which pulls a fixed result from an algorithm, and more like a pulse check ā no single response tells the full story, but the pattern across many responses does.
