The Model Context Protocol (MCP)
AgencyAnalytics connects directly to ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools through Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Once it's connected, your live client data shows up right where you already work, scoped to the right client with permissions already applied.
You can:
Ask questions about your client's performance and get answers pulled straight from their live data
Blend AgencyAnalytics data with anything else you're already working with, like a CRM export, a doc of campaign notes, a budget tracking sheet, etc.
Build detailed summaries and client-ready reports without opening a new tab
You must be an Admin or a Staff User to access the MCP. If a Client User needs access, you will need to create a Staff User for that client or connect on their behalf.

Connect External MCP Servers to AgencyAI (Beta)
External MCP servers let you connect AgencyAI to tools outside AgencyAnalytics, right from a client's profile. This feature is currently in beta.
Step 1: Open a Client, then click the AgencyAI button (✨), then click Tools. MCP servers are added at the client level, so always start from the client you want to connect to.
Step 2: Select Add MCP server. This opens the connection setup.
Step 3: Find the third party's MCP server URL. Most platforms publish this in their knowledge base or developer docs. Fellow, for example, offers meeting recording data at fellow.app/mcp.
Step 4: Check how that platform authenticates. Some use OAuth, others use a bearer token. The third party's documentation will confirm which one applies.
Step 5: Log in and authorize AgencyAnalytics. This grants access to that platform's data. You can then use the connected tools right inside AgencyAI.
Once authorized, that platform's tools appear in the conversation. This lets an agency pull in meeting notes, recordings, or other external data without leaving the chat.
Once connected, you'll have access to that platform's MCP tools within your AgencyAI conversation, so you can use those tools to pull in data from that platform.
FAQ
Can I query data across multiple clients with the MCP?
Not yet. The MCP currently supports queries related to a single client only. Multi-client analysis isn't supported at this time.
Who can connect to the MCP?
Both Admins and Staff users can connect to the MCP.
Are all external MCP servers supported?
External MCP Servers is a beta feature. It doesn't yet support MCP servers that require app approval, such as Google, Notion, or ClickUp. Support for these is planned for the near future.
