MailerLite
Connecting MailerLite to an AgencyAnalytics Client lets you display MailerLite data without logging into your account each time. Once connected, your data is automatically pulled into AgencyAnalytics.
API and Data Access
Campaign performance data is available for campaigns in every status, including drafts and campaigns that were never sent
Subscriber counts are a live snapshot of your account right now, not a total for a date range
Connect MailerLite
To avoid a failed connection or error when integrating MailerLite to a Client, the person connecting must have:
A MailerLite plan that includes API access
Permission to generate an API token in the MailerLite account
If those requirements are met, follow these steps to connect:
Step 1: Click the Data page on the left, then click + Connect Data Source.
Step 2: Search for MailerLite in the search bar at the top, then click the MailerLite card.
Step 3: In the window that appears, enter the API Token for your MailerLite account, then click Save. You can find the instructions to find your API Token in your MailerLite account in the pop-up.
If you're not sure where to find your API Token, see MailerLite's help article or contact MailerLite support.
Step 4: Once it's successful, you will see the options to Explore MailerLite, Add to Dashboard or Connect Another Data Source.
The integration is now complete. Your client's MailerLite metrics will be imported and displayed within the dashboard.
MailerLite FAQ
Why doesn't my MailerLite data change when I change the date range?
MailerLite's API doesn't accept a date range, so your report period has no effect on this data. Your campaigns and their numbers stay the same no matter which period you pick, and subscriber counts are always a snapshot of your account right now. This also means there's no way to chart subscriber growth over time.
Why do some of my campaigns show 0 for opens, clicks, and everything else?
Those campaigns were never sent. MailerLite returns no performance data for unsent campaigns, so we display 0 instead of leaving them blank. They're listed so nothing is missing from your view.
Why does my Subscriber List only show 1,000 subscribers?
MailerLite caps every request at 1,000 subscribers, so a larger account shows only the first 1,000 in the list. The summary cards above the list aren't affected and always show your true account totals. Those cards stay fixed while the Subscriber List below narrows, because they're the whole-account breakdown you're filtering against.
Filtering doesn't lift the cap; it applies per status. We request each status separately, and each of those requests caps at 1,000. Any status with fewer than 1,000 subscribers returns complete, so selecting multiple statuses can return more rows in total than the default (no filtering) does.
Why doesn't my Total Subscribers number match the five status counts added up?
MailerLite occasionally holds a subscriber with no status at all. Its total counts that subscriber, but none of the five status figures do, so the parts don't always add up to the total. We show MailerLite's own total, so the total is right even when the numbers below it don't sum to match.
Why did a campaign disappear from my saved Campaign Name filter?
The Campaign Name filter matches the name text, not the campaign itself, because MailerLite offers no way to filter campaigns by name. If you rename a campaign in MailerLite, it quietly drops out of a saved selection. For the same reason, two campaigns sharing a name are always selected together.
Can I filter my subscribers by email, name, or location?
No. MailerLite's subscriber list can only be filtered by status, and its API doesn't accept any other filters, so email, name, location, and engagement filters aren't available.
