Campaign Monitor

Campaign Monitor is an email marketing platform. Connecting it to AgencyAnalytics lets you quickly review key email campaign metrics like click rate and open rate, and populate your client reports with exactly the campaign data they need.

Connect Campaign Monitor

To avoid a failed connection or error when integrating Campaign Monitor to a Client, the person connecting must have the Lite subscription level, at minimum.

If that requirement is met, follow these steps to connect Campaign Monitor:

Step 1: Open the Client where you'd like to connect Campaign Monitor, then click the Data Sources tab at the top.

Step 2: Click the blue Connect Data Source button in the upper right corner of the page.

Step 3: Search for Campaign Monitor in the search bar at the top, then click the Campaign Monitor card.

Step 4: Click the gray Plus (+) Connect New Account button at the bottom to open the OAuth window, then follow the prompts to verify and finalize the connection.

FAQ

Does Campaign Monitor support client accounts?

Yes, client accounts (also called sub-accounts) are supported by the Campaign Monitor integration.

If a client is running their own Campaign Monitor account, they'll need to be manually added as an individual account using their account credentials. Alternatively, the client can give your agency Administrator permissions, which allows you to access and connect to the client account.

Why does Campaign Monitor show the same data for all time periods?

Campaign Monitor's API only provides values for fixed time frames (today, yesterday, this week, this month, this year, and all time), not for specific date ranges.

This doesn't line up with the AgencyAnalytics date range selector. When you select a specific date range, there's no way to match that range to the data available through the Campaign Monitor API. Instead, AgencyAnalytics shows data for "all time" regardless of the time period you select.

Can I add a multi-email campaign table widget from Campaign Monitor?

Not currently. The Campaign Monitor API doesn't support multi-email campaign tables or multi-campaign table analytics. It only allows a simple campaign ID call.

As a workaround, add multiple Campaign Monitor Single Client Report sections to your report, one for each email campaign.
