π Connect BrightLocal
To avoid a failed connection or error when integrating BrightLocal within an AgencyAnalytics campaign, the person connecting must have:
BrightLocal Multi-business, SEO Pro, or Enterprise account plan
At least one report at brightlocal.com for the location you wish to connect
If the above requirements are met, simply follow these steps to connect:
Open the Campaign where you'd like to connect BrightLocal.
Click Integrations (plug icon) on the left side menu.
Search for BrightLocal in the upper right search box or by scrolling through the integrations, then click the BrightLocal card.
Click Connect New Account, or if you've previously connected to BrightLocal, click the gray Connect New Account button below the connections list.
In the window that appears, enter the API Key for your BrightLocal account. If you're not sure where to find it, please see here or contact BrightLocal support. Once you've entered your API Key, click "Save".
Next, select the client you want to connect and click "Save".
The integration will then be complete, and your client's BrightLocal metrics will then be imported and displayed within the dashboard.
β BrightLocal FAQ
Why can I not group my BrightLocal data by the date range I select?
BrightLocal does not send date-dependent data via its API, which means we cannot group data by date in most cases. The only exception is when using line graph widgets.
Why can't I see my BrightLocal Citation Tracker data?
In order to see Citation Tracker data, a report will first need to be run in BrightLocal. Instructions for running a BrightLocal Citation Tracker report can be found here.
