How to enable/disable additional SERP tracking metrics

Just as with the search engine metrics described here, you can enable or disable a variety of additional SERP metrics in our Rank Tracker integration to meet your exact business needs.

Start in your SEO --> Rank Tracker module, and click the "Settings" button to the right of the time period selector and go to the Metrics tab.

Check the respective boxes to enable your chosen metrics for display. Uncheck those same metrics to remove them from the display.

The additional available metrics are:

  • Google Change - The difference in Google rank between the current time period and the previous time period

  • Bing Change - The difference in Bing rank between the current time period and the previous time period

  • Google Mobile Change - The difference in Google Mobile rank between the current time period and the previous time period

  • Google Local Change - The difference in Google Local rank between the current time period and the previous time period

  • Results - The number of total results returned by Google across the entire Internet for the keyword in question

  • Location - The location from which SERPs are being emulated for the keyword in question

  • Language - The language used for the SERPs emulation for this keyword

  • Volume - The number of unique Google searches per month

  • Google URL - The exact URL found in the Google SERPs which results in a ranking position being counted

  • Bing URL - The exact URL found in the Bing SERPs which results in a ranking position being counted

  • Google Mobile URL - The exact URL found in the Google Mobile SERPs which results in a ranking position being counted

  • Tags - Any tags configured for this keyword (see separate article on keyword tagging)

Similar to the search engine metrics, those metrics will then be displayed in both the graphical display and the table view.
