How to enable or disable the Google 3-pack

From within a campaign, click "Settings" on the bottom of your left side menu.

From Campaign Settings, click Rank Tracker in the settings page menu. You'll then see the "Rank Tracker" settings. From here, click to enable or disable the Google 3-pack.

Then, click "Save" before leaving the screen.

Since Google Local SERPs include 3 pack results by their nature, the settings described here only apply to the standard Google SERP rank tracking (the "Google" column in your rankings dashboard).

Important

For the most accurate results, we strongly recommend users specify the exact Google Business Page(s) they'd like our rank tracker to search for.

Definitions

  • Toggling your Google 3-pack setting to "Enabled" means that when we find your site or Google Business Page in the 3-pack, we'll report that as your organic rank, even if your site also appears elsewhere in the organic SERPs.

  • Toggling your Google 3-pack setting to "Disabled" means that we will completely ignore the 3-pack when reporting your SERP rankings.

Example

Let's say that your site is blazepizza.com. Notice that Blaze Pizza appears in the 3rd position in the 3-pack, and in 1st position in the regular results (below the 3-pack).

In this example, if you have the 3-pack setting enabled, then your rank for the keyword "pizza" will be reported as 3rd, since we'd be including that 3-pack result.

If you have the 3-pack setting disabled, then your rank for the keyword "pizza" will be reported as 1st, since we're completely ignoring the 3-pack when counting your rankings.
