How to connect your Twilio account to your AgencyAnalytics dashboard

Twilio is provides tools and APIs to build customized communication solutions, such as sending SMS messages or making phone calls from apps.

🔌 Connect Twilio

To avoid a failed connection or error when integrating Twilio within an AgencyAnalytics campaign, the person connecting must have the following:

  • Account SID / API Key SID

  • Auth Token / API Key Secret

If the above requirements are met, simply follow these steps to connect:

  1. Open the Campaign where you'd like to connect Twilio

  2. Click Integrations (plug icon) on the left side menu

  3. Search Twilio in the upper right search box, then click the Twilio card

  4. Click Connect New Account in the lower left

  5. Enter the API credentials for the Twilio account you wish to connect to, then Save at the bottom left

Where do I find Twilio Master Credentials?

If managing multiple sub-accounts, you'll need Master Credentials to authorize the connection. To get the Master Credentials:

  1. Go to your native Twilio dashboard. You should see a section titled Project Info.

  2. The Account SID will be displayed automatically

  3. To view your auth token, click the eye icon to display it.

How do I create a Twilio sub-account API key?

To create and obtain a sub-account API Key, follow these instructions:

  1. From your native Twilio dashboard, on the left menu select Settings > Subaccounts

  2. Select the Sub-account you want from the list

  3. On the left menu, click Settings

  4. You can either use the LIVE credentials shown on this page, or you can click API Keys from the left menu

  5. Click the 'Create New API Key' button on the page (e.g., big Plus-Sign).

  6. Give it a name that is memorable and select Master as the type - then click Create API Key
