🔌 Connect CallTrackingMetrics

To avoid a failed connection or error when integrating CallTrackingMetrics to a Client, the person connecting must have:

  • CallTrackingMetrics API Access Key

  • CallTrackingMetrics API Secret

If the above requirements are met, simply follow these steps to connect:

  1. Open the Client where you'd like to connect CallTrackingMetrics, then click the Data Sources tab at the top.

  2. Click the Connect Data Source button in the upper right corner of the page.

  3. Search for CallTrackingMetrics in the search bar at the top, then click the CallTrackingMetrics card.

  4. Click Connect New Account to launch the authorization window. Follow the prompts to enter your CallTrackingMetrics credentials and verify the connection.

Please note: It may take up to an hour after the first connection for CallTrackingMetrics to fully initialize.

❓ Where do I find my API access key and secret key?

To obtain your CallTrackingMetrics API Key, follow these instructions:

  1. From your CallTrackingMetrics dashboard, in the top right corner, select Settings -> Account Settings.

  2. Locate and copy your credentials under the API Integration section.

How often does CallTrackingMetrics data update?

CallTrackingMetrics caches data for 60 minutes after our first call to the API. After that, data updates in real-time.

Why don't my missed calls match what I see in CallTrackingMetrics?

CallTrackingMetrics doesn't send missed call data through their API, so we calculate this metric ourselves. We count a call as missed when it wasn't marked "Answered," or when the call duration is 0 with no recorded call.

Why can't I see any calls in my report?

This can be caused by filters set on the CallTrackingMetrics API that prevent certain calls from being sent to AgencyAnalytics. Check with your developer or whoever manages your CallTrackingMetrics account to review these API filters.

Can I access call recordings for any date range?

We should be able to retrieve call recordings regardless of look-back time. Availability ultimately depends on your account's native call retention settings in CallTrackingMetrics, if a recording has expired or been deleted there, it won't be available in AgencyAnalytics either.

How can I compare AgencyAnalytics data to the native CallTrackingMetrics dashboard?

There isn't an exact one-to-one comparison process, but a good starting point is to review all call activity in CallTrackingMetrics (starting with calls not marked "Answered"), then compare that against what AgencyAnalytics is counting as missed. Using CallTrackingMetrics' native filters can help spot where the two differ.
