Why don't my Instagram likes match what I see at Instagram.com?

There might be times when the amount of Instagram likes you see on your dashboard won't match the ones in your Instagram.com account.

This is because Instagram does not provide data for paid likes through its API. Instagram doesn't count likes that occur on ads when they report your social data.

We use Instagram's API to receive all the Instagram-related data and display it in your campaigns. However, we are limited by the data that Instagram decides to make available.

Instagram can currently provide us data for organic likes through the API, but not for the paid likes you get on your posts. Therefore, it's common to see a lower number of likes on your dashboard than in your native account if you are running paid campaigns on this platform.
