Share a Report on Demand

To share a report at any time, first open a report on the Reports page.

In the top right of the Report builder, click the Share button, then click Email in the dropdown.

A slide-out will open to the right. Choose a timeframe for the report, add your recipients, and write an email subject.

Next, fill out the body of the email. You can choose from an existing Email Template or create your own from scratch. Use / slash commands to insert formatting elements, like headers, tables, bullet points, and more.

Highlighting text reveals additional text formatting and design options. When it looks how you'd like, click Send Now at the bottom to send the email to the listed recipients.

Schedule When a Report Sends

To get started, click on and open the Report you would like to send on a set schedule.

In the top right corner of the Report builder, click the Schedule button.

Next, change the report timeframe using the date picker at the top, then click the Schedule dropdown to set the interval and time the report will send.

You can also turn on report approvals by clicking the require approval toggle. With this enabled, you'll be notified at the scheduled time in-app that the report is ready, which you can then approve and send off.

Add a list of recipients by entering their email addresses, then, if needed, edit the generated email subject line.

Lastly, update the body of the report email. Use / slash commands to add formatting, or highlight written text and make changes using the toolbar. Click Save schedule at the bottom to finalize the schedule.

Once a schedule is saved, a banner will display at the top of the slide-out to confirm that the schedule is set. Turning the Schedule active toggle off will pause the send schedule for this report.

How do I know if my Client opened my email or report?

The Report table on either the Client or account-level Report page can display helpful activity information, including Report open and click rates.

In the upper right, click the filter and settings button, then check the boxes next to the metrics you want displayed on the Reports table.

Click any of the column headers to change the table sorting between ascending and descending.

You can also view individual report activity or approvals from the Report editor by clicking Activity at the top.

FAQ

Why is my client being asked to log in when opening a report link?

This can happen for two reasons:

  • The white label domain or subdomain may be misconfigured. Check that your white label URL is set up correctly in your account settings.

  • If your client is using Safari, there's a known browser issue where Safari strips the portion of the URL after the "#" symbol, which prevents the link from loading correctly. Ask your client to try opening the link in a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).

What happens to existing report links if I update my custom domain?

Any report links generated before the domain change will stop working. You'll need to regenerate new links after updating your custom domain.
