Connect Quantcast

Connect Quantcast to AgencyAnalytics and report on your display, native, video, CTV, and audio campaigns.

Written by Jessica Tilley

Quantcast

Quantcast is a programmatic advertising platform (DSP) that agencies use to run display, native, video, CTV, and audio campaigns. With Quantcast connected, you can show your clients that ad spend right next to every other channel in their dashboards and reports, so they don't need a separate login to see it.

Quantcast is in open Beta as of October 22nd, 2026.

API and Data Access

  • Historical data available: 2 years (720 days)

  • Account types supported: Quantcast advertiser accounts, one advertiser account per connection

  • Data refresh: imported into AgencyAnalytics and refreshed daily

Connect Quantcast

To avoid a failed connection or error, you'll need:

  • A Quantcast API key and API secret, created in the Quantcast Platform

  • Access to the advertiser account you want to report on. An Org Owner can see every advertiser account in the organization

Create a Quantcast API Key

Step 1: Log in to the Quantcast Platform.

Step 2: Click your profile icon, then click My Profile.

Step 3: Go to API Key, then click Create API Key.

Step 4: Copy the API key and API secret. You'll paste both into AgencyAnalytics.

Connect Quantcast in AgencyAnalytics

Step 1: Open the Client where you'd like to connect Quantcast.

Step 2: In the Client dashboard's left sidebar, click the Plus (+) beside Data Sources.

Step 3: Search for Quantcast, then click the Quantcast card.

Step 4: Paste your API key and API secret, then continue.

Step 5: Pick the advertiser account for this Client, then click Connect.

One API key can reach several advertiser accounts, so the list shows every account your key can access.

Each connection reports on one advertiser account. That account's currency and time zone carry over, so every money value is in the account's currency and every day follows the account's local time zone.

FAQ

Why is my Device Reach total smaller than the sum of the rows?

Device Reach and Device Frequency come directly from Quantcast and don't double-count the same device. A device that saw your ad on three different days counts as a single impression for the entire period. That means the total is less than the sum of the rows, which is expected. The total you see is Quantcast's own figure.

Why is a campaign showing as Inactive when it's turned on in Quantcast?

A campaign counts as Active only when it's turned on, and at least one of its ad sets is turned on. If all of a campaign's ad sets are paused, it can't deliver anything, so it shows and filters as Inactive. This is the same rule Quantcast uses in its own campaign list.

Why do paused campaigns show up with no data?

The Campaigns and Ad Sets tables list paused campaigns and ad sets even if they didn't run during your date range, so they match your campaign list in Quantcast. Their metrics stay empty. Deleted and archived campaigns and ad sets only appear if they delivered during your date range.

Why do some campaigns show 0 Results?

Results follow each campaign's goal, just as Quantcast's campaign list does. Conversion campaigns count conversions, Traffic campaigns count site visits, and Site Engagement campaigns count engaged sessions. Other goals, like Reach, Clicks, and Completed Video Views, count as 0. Because an account total can mix these different types of results, use Conversions, Site Visits, or Engaged Sessions to compare like with like.

Why don't I see a creative's image or thumbnail?

Quantcast doesn't share creative images, so the Creatives table shows only creative names and details.

Can I report on revenue, ROAS, video completion rate, CPCV, audio metrics, or household reach?

Not yet. These metrics aren't available in this release. CPCV can't be calculated from other metrics because Quantcast calculates it based on video-only spend.

Why can't I see data older than two years?

Quantcast only provides its breakdowns for the last two years, so AgencyAnalytics keeps 720 days of Quantcast data.

Why can't I see today's data?

A day is imported only once, in the advertiser account's time zone. Today's data appears after the next daily sync.

Why is my Quantcast connection asking me to reconnect?

If your API key loses access to the advertiser account, you'll be asked to reconnect. If the key was rotated or deleted in Quantcast, create a new API key and enter the new key and secret.

Why does my report show a different currency or time zone than my other data sources?

Each Quantcast connection uses its advertiser account's currency and time zone. All money values are in that account's currency, and each day follows that account's local time zone.
