đ Connect Matomo
To avoid a failed connection or error when integrating Matomo to a Client, the person connecting must have:
View access to the sites they'd like data from
Valid auth token from Matomo
If the above requirements are met, simply follow these steps to connect:
Open the Client where you'd like to connect Matomo, then click the Data Sources tab at the top.
Click the blue Connect Data Source button in the upper right corner of the page.
Search for Matomo in the search bar at the top, then click the Matomo card.
Click Connect New Account to launch the authorization window, or if you've previously connected an account, click the gray + sign at the bottom.
On the next page, enter your server's URL and a valid auth token from Matomo.
Once you have entered the information, click Save at the bottom left to finalize the connection.

How do I match up my Matamo Revenue metrics within the Matomo integration to my Revenue metrics on the native Matomo platform?

How do I resolve the "Segment you requested has not yet been created in the Segment Editor so the report data has not been pre-processed" error?
This error message appears when you attempt to use (or go to a section that uses) the Channel filter without the Channel Type or Referrer Type segment enabled within the native Matomo platform (this can be enabled within the native Matomo platform as per this guide.)
