Google Analytics widgets can be filtered by page, allowing you to show specific, granular data to your clients. Use our filters to show exact matches, or search for pages that contain a specific word or phrase.
Using the Basic Pages Filter
In edit mode, add a Google Analytics widget to your dashboard or report, then click on the widget to expand the Edit Widget menu on the right.
Next, click the Data tab of the Edit Widget menu, then scroll until you find the Page filter. Click the page filter to see our filter options.
Click the filter to open the dropdown list, then either scroll or use the search field to find the pages you're looking for. Next, click the boxes next to the pages you'd like to include in this widget.
Once selected the widget will update to display data relative to just the selected pages.
Using the Advanced Pages Filter
The advanced page filter is a contains filter; this means it will search for pages that contain what you enter in the filter field.
After adding a widget to your dashboard or report, click the Data tab of the Edit Widget menu, then scroll until you find the Page filter.
Choose one of the advanced filter options (contains, does not contain, matches regex, and does not match regex). Once selected, click the field, then enter the word or path of your choosing to activate the filter.
In the example below, the widget on the left has been updated to display data relevant to pages whose URLs contain/cosmetics.
How you enter the word or path will change the data displayed in the widget. In the example below, we use only the word cosmetics. This results in a different set of pages being returned, as more pages than just the two above contain the word "cosmetics" when the forward slash is removed.
