Map Widget
The Map widget shows global traffic distribution for a selected metric, broken down by country. It's a great way to give clients with a global reach a clear picture of where their traffic, leads, or other metrics are coming from.

Set Up a Map Widget
You can add a Map widget to either a dashboard or a report. Follow the steps below for whichever one you're editing.
Step 1: Go to the dashboard for the client you want to update, then click Edit My Dashboards. If you're adding the widget to a report instead, open the report and start editing.
Step 2: In the section you're editing, click Integration Metrics at the top of the toolbar on the right.
Step 3: Search for the integration you want, then click the integration name to expand the widget menu.
Step 4: Click the earth icon to filter for metrics that can be displayed as a Map widget. Not all metrics or integrations have Map widgets available, since they require time-based demographics data to render.
Step 5: Click the metric you want, then drag and drop the Map widget to where you want it on your dashboard or report.
View Data on a Map Widget
Once a Map widget is on your dashboard or report, you can hover over any country to see its value for the selected metric. A tooltip pops up showing that country's exact value.
To get a clearer picture of the map and its values, click the widget's full-screen view button.
Understand Map Widget Colors
The highlighted country colors on a Map widget are relative to the country with the largest value for the selected metric. If there's a wide variance between a small value and the largest value, the color of the small value can end up looking the same as the background.
FAQ
Why don't all metrics have Map widgets available?
Map widgets require time-based demographics data to render. Not all metrics or integrations provide this type of data, so the Map widget option won't show up for every metric.
Why does a country's color look the same as the background?
Country colors are relative to the country with the largest value for the selected metric. If there's a large difference between a small value and the largest value, the small value's color can fade to match the background.
