In order to assist you with visualizing your automated reports as they'll appear when sent to clients, we offer the ability to view either sample data or live client data within the report editor when configuring your report design.

Live data is exceptionally useful when crafting a summary of analysis, as you can refer to your client's actual numbers without having to toggle between the editor and the dashboard integrations.

Sample data is most useful when you don't have any - or only have a limited amount - of live data available.

To toggle between sample and live data, open the design editor, then click the selector at the very top of the screen. The report editor will remember which you last selected, and will save that preference for your user account going forward.
