How to create a report template

From the home page, hover over the sidebar on the left, then click Templates.

Then, select the Reports tab at the top of the page.

In the upper right corner of the Reports page, click Create Template. If you haven't created any templates yet, the Create Templates button will be in the middle of the screen instead.

This will open the report template creation wizard. In the first step, select the source for your template.

You have three options to create your report template.

  • Create a blank report template: Start fresh with a clean slate template.

  • Start from a template: Use a premade template or one of your own, then apply changes.

  • Clone an existing report: This option allows you to copy a report from another campaign, then apply changes.

If you selected "Create a blank report template", you'll be prompted to enter a name for your report template.

If you selected "Start from a template", you'll be prompted to select a template.

Click on any of the templates to see a preview on the right side. Once you've chosen a template, click on "Continue" at the bottom of the screen.

If you selected "Clone an existing report", you'll then be prompted to select an existing report to clone.

You may also use the search box to search for a report. Once you're done, click "Continue".

In the next step, you have the option to rename your report template.

Regardless of how you begin your template, you'll arrive at the report editor. This will allow you to add/customize report sections and widgets, just as you would when designing a standalone report.

Build the template to meet your needs, saving regularly as you build. When done, save a final time, then click the X in the top right corner to exit the report editor.
