What are Custom Metrics?

The Custom Metric widget is a feature that gives you the ability to take any metric from your campaign and create a custom formula to produce your own unique metrics. For example, if you always wanted to see what your combined ad spend for Facebook Ads and Google Ads would look like, then this feature is for you.

Custom Metrics are only available on the Enterprise Plan.

Here is a list of custom metric formulas you can consider using in your client campaigns:


Gross Profit

Review how well your ad campaigns are converting into actual sales.

Platforms: WooCommerce or Shopify, Facebook Ads

Metrics:

  • WooCommerce Total Sales

Formula: (ecommerce platform) Total Sales - Facebook Ads Amount Spent


Total Ad Spend

Evaluate your ad spend across all your platforms and campaigns.

Platforms: Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads.

Metrics:

  • Bings Ads Cost (campaign analytics)

  • Facebook Ads Amount Spent

  • Google Ads Cost (ad analytics)

  • Twitter Ads Cost (campaign analytics)

  • LinkedIn Ads Cost

Formula: Bings Ads Cost + Facebook Ads Amount Spent + Google Ads Cost + Twitter Ads Cost + LinkedIn Ads Cost


Facebook and Google Ad Clicks

View the total number of clicks your ads are getting.

Platforms: Facebook Ads, Google Ads

Metrics:

  • Facebook Ads Clicks

Cost Revenue Ratio

Measure the efficiency of your expenses to your earnings.

Platforms: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Shopify, WooCommerce

Metrics:

  • WooCommerce Total Sales

  • Shopify Total Sales

  • Facebook Ads Amount Spent

  • Google Ads Cost (ad analytics)

Phone Conversion Rate

Review your PPC Ad clicks to calls conversion rate
