Ignoring tests in the site auditor
There are three different ways in which you can ignore tests and pages in the auditor. This can be useful if you don't want a test to impact the audit score, or if you want to hide specific tests from your reporting.
Any ignored test, page, or issue will be automatically removed from your site audit score calculations, and can also be hidden from dashboards and reports.ย
Ignore entire test
You can ignore an entire test from your results (for example, ignore all page is not canonical). In order to do so, head to the "Tests" section on the site auditor dashboard, click the checkbox next to the test and then click "Ignore".
The test will now be ignored.
Ignore an entire page
You can also ignore a complete page from your site audit results. In order to do so, head to the "Pages" section on the site auditor dashboard. From there, scroll to the page you'd like to ignore (you can also search the page from the search box at the top right corner of the table). Once you've found the page, click the checkbox next to the page and then click the "Ignore" button.
The page will now be ignore.
Ignore a specific test on a page
In order to ignore a specific test from a given page, click the relevant page from within the "Pages" section on the site auditor dashboard. A slide-out will appear in which it will show page details. From there, scroll down to the specific test you'd like to ignore on this page.
